Mutianyu Great Wall & Ming Tombs
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Beijing between 7 am and 7:30 am and set off for the Ming Tombs, an hour's drive away. They're 500 years old! We'll explore the 13 imperial funerary monuments and see where the Emperors Yongle and Xu were buried.
An hour later, we'll set off again to a jade carving factory. There you'll have 45 minutes to discover the secrets of this ornamental rock at your leisure, a tradition in China! Afterwards, we'll go to a restaurant and enjoy a lunch that includes several dishes to share.
Our next destination will be the Mutianyu Great Wall, popular for its beautiful location among colourful forests. As we walk along this historic wall, we'll find out why the locals consider it a masterpiece of restoration - its 23 watchtowers will leave you speechless!
At the end of the trip, we'll return to Beijing and take you back to your hotel at 6 pm.
