Private Beijing City Tour
Having picked you up from your hotel at 8:30 am, we'll head to our first stop, the Temple of Heaven. This is one of the main sacred spaces in China, once used by the emperor himself to give thanks for current and future harvests.
The second stop will be the Forbidden City, the largest and best conserved imperial residence in all China. This was home to 24 Chinese emperors who ruled the country for more than 500 years. We'll tour the most historically important parts of the palace complex, learning about its long and storied history, and enjoying the legendary tales hidden within its walls.
Then, after lunch, we'll make our way to the final stop of the day: the Summer Palace.
The Summer Palace was used as the imperial garden over several dynasties, used to escape from the claustrophobic heat of the Forbidden City in summer. In our opinion, this remains to this day one of the most pleasant spots in all Beijing.
The tour then ends in your hotel, or wherever you like, around 6 pm.
