Confucius Temple, Beihai Park, and Capital Museum

At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Beijing and head to our first stop: the Capital Museum. During a tour of approximately two and a half hours, we will walk through the main rooms of the museum, which gives a detailed overview of the legendary past of Chinese history. Particularly noteworthy is its collection of porcelain and jade objects, considered to be one of the most comprehensive in Asia.

The tour of the museum will end at 12 pm. After that, you will have an hour and a half free time for lunch on your own. Afterward, we will continue our tour to Beihai Park, one of the main green areas of the Chinese capital. In this large floral space, which dates back to the 10th century, we will learn about the particularities of Chinese gardens, whose care and ornamental techniques have been handed down from generation to generation.

Beijing's Beihai Park is also home to an extensive collection of monuments. The Nine Dragons Wall is particularly interesting, but do you know the legend about this colorful mural. Each dragon is painted in a different color. The tones are not just chosen at random and we will explain why.

Our last stop is the Temple of Confucius. During the visit of this amazing sanctuary, we will learn about the history of Chinese Confucianism and its origins. The temple also has many references to the teachings of Confucius. As we will see, some of his premises are still very much alive in today's philosophy, both in the East and in the West.

Finally, we will conclude the tour by returning to your hotel in Beijing at 5 pm.
