Resulta q los aparatos q nos dieron para ir escuchando a la guia no se oían bien si no se acercaba el micrófono, x lo que muchas cosas de las explicaciones q nos daban no se oían y perdías el hilo y como había tantísima gente y el grupo era tan numeroso, tampoco era plan de estar pidiendo q repitiera lo que había dicho (y con el calor sofocante q hacía...). Creo q se podría mejorar la forma de comunicar y hacer grupos más pequeños (éramos 38) para q todos nos enteramos de todo.

It turns out that the devices they gave us to listen to the guide couldn't be heard well unless the microphone was held close, so many of the explanations we were given couldn't be heard and you lost track of them. And since there were so many people and the group was so large, it wasn't a good idea to keep asking them to repeat what they had said (and with the stifling heat...). I think the way they communicate could be improved and the groups could be made smaller (there were 38 of us) so that we could all hear everything.

Alba fue una muy buena guía, explicativa, clara, amable. Sólo que el tour es demasiado largo y la cantidad de gente es excesiva en la ciudad prohibida. Nosotros nos retiramos 1,5 horas antes y en el camino hacia la salida había mucha menos gente que cuando pasamos por los mismos sitios al iniciar el tour. De pronto podrian evaluar iniciar a otra hora de modo que con sea concurrente con las otras decenas de grupos, asi seria menos agobiante.

Alba was a very good guide, explanatory, clear, and friendly. The only problem is that the tour is too long and the crowds in the Forbidden City are excessive. We left 1.5 hours early, and on the way out, there were far fewer people than when we passed the same sites at the start of the tour. Perhaps you could consider starting at a different time so that it's concurrent with the dozens of other groups, and it would be less overwhelming.

El guía era majo y con conocimiento, pero de haber sabido que se pueden comprar entradas directamente yendo el mismo día a las taquillas de la ciudad prohibida nos habríamos ahorrado un 80%. Cuando estás en Pekín piensas que no se pueden pillar entradas el mismo día pero no es así. De hecho el guía te da dinero para que tú mismo te saques la entrada. Bizarro. Recomiendo no hacerlo e ir por libre.

The guide was nice and knowledgeable, but if we had known that you can buy tickets directly by going to the Forbidden City ticket office the same day, we would have saved 80%. When you're in Beijing, you think you can't get tickets the same day, but that's not the case. In fact, the guide gives you money to buy your own tickets. Bizarre.
